A new website for Visage hair dressing, Swansea has been completed.
The specification was to keep the design simple whilst showcasing the salon, location and featuring the current price list. The site can be visited at www.visageswansea.com.
MCC Badge

Recently re-designed Mumbles Cricket Club’s badge for use on the team kit, leisurewear and club website. The goal was to simplify the existing design giving it a bolder look whilst retaining the key elements and colours.
The final design was decided upon below.

IE 8 Released

Microsoft has released the latest version of their browser, Internet Explorer 8 which is now ready for download. This promises to be a big improvement over previous versions and to the relief of web developers everywhere has taken a big step in incorporating current web standards.
The look of IE 8 is very similar to version 7.0 but there are a number of new features. Accelerators are a set of power tools applied to highlighting text and sharing/translating or others functions a user may want for making life easier. InPrivate mode introduces a easy access privacy setting which disables the history log.
First and foremost it is more secure and with better support for development standards which will help improve the look and functionality of the web.
Anyone using IE 6 or earlier should definitely consider the upgrade as essential, IE 7 users will notice little difference but is still recommended. Internet Explorer 8 can be downloaded here.
MCS Re-design

The Mumbles Computer Services website finally gets a complete re-design. Not only is the look completely re-vamped but the layout has also changed.
Many templates were drafted, coded and disguarded before settling on this current design. A decision had to be made though and this is the final outcome, the change was long overdue!.
